The C-Bus home automation
6.4 inch touchscreen
controller has a built-in Internet browser that allows you to view website
pages. However, if you simply display a Bureau of Meteorology radar page on your C-Touch
screen controller, then instead of the clean clear image provided by Clever Home above,
you will instead see something like this.
Clever Home home automation Engineering is able to present just the radar image itself,
without the surrounding graphics, spaces, text and margins for a much better user
experience on C-Bus 6.4 inch C-Touch screen controllers. The method we use is also engineered to be compatible
with all C-Bus 6.4 inch C-Touch screen controller versions, and to impose minimal memory and processing
requirements on them. This way:
- You immediately see the radar image you want to see when opening a radar viewing page.
- You don't need to horizontally and vertically scroll every time you visit a radar
touchscreen page.
- You enjoy a larger cleaner image viewing area, since the bottom horizontal scroll bar
does not need to be displayed or used.
- You may still easily navigate to related C-Touch screen pages, using navigation buttons
to the right of the image area, in screen space made available by rendering just the
radar/rainfall image itself.
- The stability of your C-Touch screen processor is not compromised.
You may still view the full range of information and weather warnings provided by the Bureau of Meteorology
website on your C-Touch screen, when you need to, by using the acknowledging
link that we provide below each Radar image.
Clever Home Engineering is also able to neatly present animated sequences
of any number of recent weather radar images on your C-Bus 6.4 inch C-Touch screens for a
period of time. The different method that we use to support radar image sequences is also
engineered to impose minimal memory and processing demands on your touch screen, and to be
compatible with all 6.4 inch C-Bus C-Touch screen controller versions.

provides an indication of how neat a succession of radar images can appear when Clever
Home sets up your C-Touch home automation touch screen controller and a Windows PC on your LAN to
work together to produce this result. The quality of the screen image is actually better
than that shown above, due to the inherent limitations of the gif image format.
